Georgia’s “increasingly crowded” Republican Senate primary just got a little less roomy, as failed 2010 gubernatorial candidate and disgraced ex-Komen Foundation Vice President Karen Handel joined the GOP primary field this morning. This brings the Republican primary candidate count to five, promising a long, expensive, and divisive primary for the GOP.
GOP OVERREACH: 2014 COULD LOOK A LOT LIKE 1998. Republicans are foaming at the mouth over Benghazi, AP, and the IRS. They are throwing out the ‘I’ word (impeachment) and gloating about months and months of hearings that will block progress on other issues people care about.
