DSCC Chairman Van Hollen on One-Year Anniversary of House Health Care Vote

To mark the one-year anniversary of House Republicans voting for their toxic health care bill, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Senator Van Hollen released the following statement:

“One year ago today, Republicans put forward a health care plan that would hurt middle class families by increasing their premiums, jeopardizing coverage for pre-existing conditions, and imposing an age tax on older Americans. Since then, the GOP’s ongoing sabotage of the health insurance system has continued to make health care more expensive and less available. Health care will be a defining issue of this election, and voters will hold every Republican Senate candidate accountable for their party’s unpopular and expensive agenda.”
