The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is launching a new digital ad today to make sure Georgians know Senator David Perdue voted for a painful tax hike on Gold Star families when he voted in 2017 for the reckless Republican tax law. The ad will run as part of a five-figure digital buy across battleground states.
While some Democrats and Republicans in the Senate have been working on a fix, Perdue, who voted proudly for the tax bill that caused this mess, is not owning up to the consequences of his vote. Instead, he’s been sitting on the sidelines, appearing to decline to co-sponsor the legislation while his Senate colleagues work across party lines to undo this cruel penalty hurting Gold Star families.
