DSCC Launches Non-Skippable Bumper Ads on #NetNeutrality

As part of Democrats’ efforts to protect landmark net neutrality rules that guarantee a free and open internet for everyone, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is launching a six-second, non-skippable YouTube bumper ad highlighting the importance of #NetNeutrality. The six-second non-skippable bumper ad is optimal for delivering critical messages while keeping viewer attention, especially across mobile platforms. The ad will reach targeted voters as part of an ongoing six-figure buy.

“Open access to the Internet is essential for our students, our small business owners, our families and communities – there is no question we need to ensure net neutrality remains in place,” said DSCC spokesman David Bergstein. “Free and open internet should not be a privilege and we will make sure voters know Republicans are trying to make yet another part of their lives more expensive.”

The DSCC was the first campaign committee to utilize Google’s innovative bumper format this cycle with its targeted health care ad.
