DSCC RAISES $19 MILLION IN SEPTEMBER, CRUSHING THE NRSC BY NEARLY $4 MILLION FOR THE BEST SEPTEMBER IN COMMITTEE HISTORY, RAISED $35 MILLION IN Q3 FOR BEST Q3 IN DSCC HISTORY, OVER $10 MILLION MORE THAN NRSC RAISED IN SAME PERIOD, ENDED SEPTEMBER WITH $28.3 MILLION ON HAND.

The DSCC raised $19 million in September, crushing the NRSC by nearly $4 million for the best September in committee history. The DSCC has outraised the NRSC 19 of the last 21 months this cycle despite being in the minority. Over the last three months, the DSCC raised $35 million, over $10 million more than the NRSC raised in the same period, for the best Q3 in DSCC history. The DSCC has $28.3 million cash on hand, $15 million more than the NRSC has, and no operational debt.

Statement from Executive Director Tom Lopach: “The DSCC is incredibly thankful to our grassroots supporters across the country who helped us post both the best September in committee history. These resources allow us to fight back against desperate attacks by Republicans and their special interest allies as they try to prop up vulnerable incumbents and their extreme, out-of-touch records. While Republicans fail to defend their records and their shameful support for Donald Trump, our outstanding Democratic candidates are showing how they’ll fight for hard-working middle class families in the Senate. Our resounding fundraising success gives us the momentum heading into the final stretch of this campaign as we work to take back the majority in November.”
