GOP Senators Can’t Stand Up to Trump, Won’t Stand Up for Working Families
With just 75 days to go until Election Day, the DSCC today released a new web ad “Morally Tainted,” highlighting how despite the growing list of Donald Trump’s divisive and dangerous actions, Republican Senators continue to support their nominee and refuse to stand up to his toxic policies.

“Donald Trump proves on a daily basis that he is unfit to serve as our commander-in-chief, yet vulnerable Republican Senators lack both the judgment and the independence to disassociate themselves from their party’s offensive and toxic nominee,” said DSCC spokesperson Sam Lau. “Voters will remember how Republicans put party over principles and continued to support Donald Trump through his consistent bigotry, fear mongering, and dangerous foreign policy ideas. If Republican Senators can’t be trusted to stand up to Donald Trump, they can’t be trusted to stand up for working families.”
