In response to President Trump’s opposition to the bipartisan Alexander-Murray health care bill, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“Republicans are already spiking health care costs and slashing coverage — now the GOP is trying to torpedo a bipartisan proposal that would protect Americans from paying even more. Every Republican Senate candidate should already be speaking out against their party’s effort to wreck this deal — but if they don’t it will give voters even more reason to hold them accountable for their skyrocketing health care costs in 2018.”
