In response to a CNN report detailing Congressman Lou Barletta’s long, well documented connection to white supremacists and Holocaust deniers, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“It’s been five days since news broke about Congressman Barletta’s ties to white supremacists and Holocaust deniers — but his shifting stories have only underscored how he has no credible defense or explanation for his long and well documented ties to these hate groups. This growing scandal is just one more reason why even Pennsylvania Republicans are dismissing Barletta’s failing campaign.”
