DSCC Statement on Cassidy-Graham-Heller & Health Care Developments

As Senator Heller continues to tout his toxic health care proposal (Cassidy-Graham-Heller) and the GOP continues to sabotage America’s health insurance system, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:

“Republicans like Senator Heller are continuing their efforts to spike health care costs and strip away coverage from hard working Americans for the sake of their own self-serving political agenda. For Senator Heller, the hypocrisy is especially glaring: his own plan increases costs for Nevadans, breaks his promise to protect his state’s Medicaid coverage, and shows once again that he’s only ever looking out for himself. The GOP’s reckless agenda — coupled with their ongoing sabotage of America’s health insurance system — is expensive for working families, unpopular with voters of every political persuasion, and will drag down their Senate candidates in every state.”
