In response to Senator Flake’s vote for health care repeal, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“On the heels of his vote yesterday to impose an age tax on older Americans, Senator Flake today backed a bill that will double premiums and strip away coverage for 400,000 Arizonans. The expensive and horrific health care agenda he is voting to inflict on Arizona’s working families is another demonstration that he is only ever looking out for his own political interests, and in 2018 voters will hold him accountable.”
Ahead of yesterday’s vote, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee launched radio ads on Senators Heller and Flake’s long record of voting to spike healthcare costs and strip coverage.
