In response to Rick Scott’s visit to D.C. today to discuss his party’s toxic health care agenda, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“After bragging that he helped craft the toxic Republican healthcare plan that spikes costs by 20 percent, strips coverage for pre-existing conditions and imposes an age tax on older Americans, today Scott is returning to the scene of his crime. Just like the self-serving politician that he is, Scott’s health care agenda increases costs and cuts coverage for hardworking Floridians — all to give himself a big tax break. Today’s event is just another reminder that Scott is only ever looking out for himself — while Floridians who actually work for a living are paying the price.”
Last week the DSCC launched full-screen Google takeover ads against Scott highlighting his support for the toxic Republican health care plan.
