In response to Senator Rubio’s support for a congressional investigation into Rick Scott’s nursing home scandal, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“We urge Rick Scott to listen to his fellow Republicans and cooperate fully with this, and any other, investigation into this tragedy. The revelations that have emerged regarding Scott’s record of slashing protections for seniors, hiding critical information from the public, and installing unqualified cronies in key public safety positions are deeply disturbing, and will require a careful examination as more information about this scandal continues to come to light.”
