A new poll conducted by Expedition Strategies shows Evan Bayh leading Congressman Todd Young by a whopping 26 points just three months before Election Day.
Bayh has the support of 58% of likely voters, compared to just 32% for Young, reflecting Bayh’s strong standing in the state. The results mirror findings last month that showed Bayh leading by 21 points with potential to grow his support.
“Hoosiers know that Evan will put them first, which is why he’s maintaining his strong position even as Republicans lob desperate attacks,” said Lauren Passalacqua, DSCC National Press Secretary. “Congressman Todd Young and his special interest allies can’t distract from Young’s own out-of-touch record, and Indiana is eager for a Senator who will take on the tough problems and help grow the middle class.”
