In response to an ad from Rick Scott about Medicare, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“It’s a surprise Rick Scott wants to make this race about Medicare since he made hundreds of millions of dollars overseeing the largest Medicare fraud in history, backed a plan that would end the Medicare guarantee and opposed allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices for seniors. In the months ahead we look forward to a long, thorough discussion of the contrast between Sen. Nelson and self-serving Scott on this issue.”
