NEW DIGITAL VIDEO: DSCC Highlights Ernst’s Record of Helping Special Interests at Iowa’s Expense

As Ernst officially announces re-election plans, new DSCC digital video holds her accountable for supporting reckless tax cuts for the wealthy, putting Iowa seniors at risk with plans that threaten Social Security & Medicare

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is launching a new 30-second digital video this weekend highlighting Senator Joni Ernst’s record of putting special interests ahead of Iowans by supporting a tax giveaway for the wealthiest Americans and big corporations while repeatedly threatening Social Security and Medicare. Ernst is officially announcing her re-election plans today.

“After promising to be different, Senator Ernst helped pass a massive tax giveaway to wealthy donors and corporations while repeatedly threatening Social Security and other critical earned benefits families rely on,” said DSCC spokesperson Stewart Boss.  “Senator Ernst has voted with Mitch McConnell 99 percent of the time and against Iowa seniors and hardworking families – voters will hold her accountable at the ballot box by replacing her with a Senator who will fight for them.”
