In an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, DSCC Chairman Senator Chris Van Hollen said that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell should respect the will of Alabama voters and wait until Senator-elect Doug Jones is seated before scheduling a vote on the tax bill.
“Mitch McConnell should now allow Doug Jones to come to Washington, he’s now been duly elected by the people of Alabama. He should have a vote for them on the pressing issues of the day, which includes the tax bill.”
