Alexander Has Taken Over $360,000 From the Oil and Gas Industry Over His Career.  Since coming to Congress Lamar Alexander has taken $364,675 from the oil and gas industry. 

Alexander Voted for $5 Billion Tax Break for Big Oil. In May 2006, Alexander voted to provide $5 billion in tax breaks to big oil companies over five years. This money could have been used to provide tax cuts to the middle class that were instead eliminated.
