VIDEO: Rand Wishes Presidential Campaign “Were Still Active”

Rand Paul just cannot give up his presidential ambitions. At Saturday’s Kentucky Presidential Caucus – which Paul paid $250,000 to facilitate so that he could run for both the White House and his consolation prize, the U.S. Senate – he admitted he wishes his presidential campaign “were still active.”

“We kind of wish we were still active, you know, in the campaign.”

“Rand Paul’s presidential campaign ended more than a month ago, but he still wishes he was running for the White House and not to represent Kentucky,” said Lauren Passalacqua, DSCC National Press Secretary. “How many times will Paul remind Kentucky voters that he views his Senate seat as a consolation prize? Kentucky deserves better.”
