DSCC Statement Congratulating Senator-Elect Hamilton

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) Chair Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand released the following statement congratulating Senator-Elect Adam Hamilton, the first Democrat to win a Senate seat in Kansas in 94 years:

“Congratulations to Senator-Elect Hamilton on his historic victory, becoming the first Democratic Senator from Kansas in nearly 100 years. He brings a unique voice and perspective to the Senate as a fifth-generation Kansan and pastor – and we’re looking forward to working with him in the U.S. Senate to take on the chaos, cruelty, and corruption in Washington that is hurting Kansans from all walks of life. Adam will speak up for hard-working Kansans and give them the voice they deserve in the U.S. Senate, and we look forward to welcoming him.”
