DSCC Statement Congratulating Senator-Elect Troy Jackson

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) Chair Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand released the following statement congratulating Senator-Elect Troy Jackson:

“Congratulations to Senator-Elect Jackson on his victory. We look forward to working with Troy in the Senate to make government work for working people and to lower the cost of health care. A fifth-generation logger and fighter for Mainers, Troy stepped up at an unexpected moment and proved himself a formidable candidate – building a winning campaign in just 100 days, a feat few in history have pulled off. Mainers rallied behind Troy because they know he is a fighter for working people who will lower costs, protect their health care, and put Maine families first.”
