In response to Representative and U.S. Senate candidate Ashley Hinson voting once again against a bipartisan effort to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits and lower health care costs for Iowa families, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesperson Joe Bush released the following statement:
“Once again, Ashley Hinson refuses to lift a finger to help more than 100,000 Iowans who are facing catastrophic health care price increases due to the crisis she created. In just the last 24 hours, Hinson has repeatedly abandoned her constituents and refused to address the pain caused by GOP health care price spikes. Higher costs for health insurance will cause Iowa families to lose care, and Iowans will remember at the ballot box this November.”

- Ashley Hinson opposes the Affordable Care Act and voted for Republicans’ toxic plan that is spiking health insurance costs, and voted against creating and extending the enhanced Affordable Care Act premium tax credits that lower health insurance costs.
