Ask Governor Scott: Do You Think Covering Pre-existing Conditions Is Unconstitutional?

Following the Trump Administration’s latest extraordinary effort to undermine Americans’ ability to get quality, affordable health care by declaring coverage for pre-existing conditions to be unconstitutional, DSCC spokesman David Bergstein released the following challenge:

“It’s a simple question: Does Governor Scott agree with the President that requiring insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions is unconstitutional? Because Florida voters don’t.”

Governor Scott is already on the record making clear that he helped write the GOP’s health care agenda that would slash coverage for pre-existing conditions, spike premiums, and impose an age tax on older Americans.
