Jobless claims fell to the “lowest level since November 1969” last week — just the latest proofpoint that Democrats’ economic agenda continues to drive our nation’s recovery.
Claims fell below pre-pandemic levels, marking the eighth consecutive week of declines in a “stunning” and “remarkable comeback” for the nation’s economy — made possible by Democrats’ American Rescue Plan that has delivered “relief checks” and a successful “roll-out of vaccines” which generated consumer confidence and a robust job market.
Reminder: Every single Senate Republican voted against the plan that put money in people’s pockets, expanded vaccine access, and rescued our struggling restaurants and small businesses.
