Democrats “Show Fundraising Strength,” Report “Massive” Q2 Hauls

Democratic Senators continue to break fundraising records, reporting “substantial fundraising hauls,” and building their cash on hand in key states across the map. The massive Q2 numbers are “putting each campaign in strong financial positions” and represent the latest demonstration that Democrats are running aggressive campaign operations across the country and are ready to defend our majority.

• ARIZONA – Senator Mark Kelly raised $6 million and will report more than $7 million cash on hand –– the “massive” sum “reflects Kelly’s financial strength headed into the 2022 Senate race.”  Kelly’s “substantial” haul was made up of contributions from more than 85,000 individuals.

• GEORGIA – Senator Reverend Warnock raised $7 million in Q2 and reports $10.5 million cash on hand. The “sizable” haul was made up of donations from more than 110,000 individuals and set “a record for statewide candidates in Georgia.”

• NEVADA – Senator Catherine Cortez Masto announced raising $2.8 million, banking nearly $6.6 million cash on hand –– putting her campaign in a strong financial position. 95% of the contributions to Cortez Masto were $100 or less.

• NEW HAMPSHIRE – Senator Maggie Hassan “set New Hampshire fundraising records for the third consecutive quarter,” raising $3.25 million and reporting more than $6.5 million cash on hand. The eye-popping haul was made up of donations from supporters in 210 New Hampshire cities and towns and 92% of all contributions were less than $100.
