DSCC Launches Billboard Ahead Of Rick Scott’s Visit Calling Out Republicans’ Push To Criminalize Abortion

New Billboard Highlights How NH GOP Senate Candidates Would Back Republican’s Anti-Choice Agenda That Includes Nationwide Abortion Ban

Today, ahead of Rick Scott’s visit to Manchester, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is launching a digital billboard in downtown Manchester highlighting how the NH GOP Senate candidates would stand in lockstep with Mitch McConnell and Rick Scott’s push for a nationwide abortion ban if they retake the Senate.

From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman: “If Republicans retake the Senate, the Republican Senate candidates would all be a yes vote for Rick Scott and Mitch McConnell’s push to criminalize abortion nationwide and take away a woman’s right to make our own health care decisions. Scott’s visit is a reminder of how out of step Senate Republicans’ anti-choice agenda is with Granite Staters — and how high the stakes are for women and families in New Hampshire’s Senate race.”

Morse, Smith, and Bolduc all have long anti-choice records. Chuck Morse, Kevin Smith, and Don Bolduc all said they supported the Supreme Court’s draft decision to overturn Roe.

  • Morse was the “key architect” of the first abortion ban in modern New Hampshire history, which makes no exceptions for rape, incest, or fatal fetal anomaly. It also mandates ultrasounds and imposes felony penalties and prison time on doctors.
