The DSCC released a new TV ad in Arizona’s Senate race, “Again,” holding Senator Martha McSally accountable for misleading voters about her toxic record of siding with her special interest donors at the expense of Arizonans.
Senator McSally is claiming that she’s fighting against the big pharmaceutical and insurance industries to lower the costs of prescription drugs, but the truth is McSally has collected over a million dollars in campaign cash from Big Pharma and the insurance industry and has voted to protect their interests. McSally has voted to increase prescription drug costs and raise out of pocket expenses for seniors, and she’s backed legislation that would put an “age tax” on older Arizonans’ health care bills. It’s just part of a larger pattern from McSally saying one thing to Arizonans, but doing another thing in Washington.
The ad is the fourth to run in Arizona from the DSCC IE and is part of the committee’s previously announced offensive television and digital paid investments in key battleground states.
“Again”
“She’s lying again. “I’m fighting against the big insurance companies, the big pharmaceutical companies.” But Martha McSally collected over a million dollars from the big insurance and pharmaceutical industries. And McSally’s voted with them to raise prescription drug costs and out of pocket drug expenses. The AARP says McSally even voted to let insurance companies slap a thirteen thousand dollar “age tax” on your health care bill. Martha McSally. You can’t believe a thing she says.”
