The DSCC released a new TV ad in Montana’s Senate race, “You See,” highlighting Senator Steve Daines’ record of putting himself and corporate special interests ahead of Montanans.
Senator Daines has taken more than $2.1 million from corporate PACs and voted for their interests in Washington. He backed the trillion dollar GOP tax scam that gave corporations a massive tax break while putting Social Security and Medicare in jeopardy. Now, Senator Daines is pushing “a windfall to corporations” that experts like the Social Security Administration’s chief actuary say would deplete Social Security by 2023.
The ad is the third to run in Montana from the DSCC IE and is part of the committee’s previously announced offensive television and digital paid investments in key battleground states.
“Whenever Steve Daines has to choose between corporations and Montanans, he puts his corporate donors first. You see, Daines has taken two million from corporate PACs and voted for a trillion dollar corporate tax break that put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block. Now Daines is pushing a plan that will be another tax windfall for corporations, but experts say could end Social Security benefits by 2023. Steve Daines, putting money before Montana.”
