DSCC Releases New Video And Statement On Ted Budd

Republicans limp out of “a bitter and expensive race for the GOP nomination” marked by “the kind of ferocity that’s usually saved for a general election”

Today the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is releasing a new video on Ted Budd – “Washington Insider” – and the following statement from DSCC spokesperson Amanda Sherman-Baity:

“Ted Budd represents everything North Carolinians hate about Washington – he’s a D.C. insider with no accomplishments for his state, and he’s spent his career looking out for himself at the expense of working families. Budd’s company ripped off farmers, and in D.C. he’s hurt North Carolinians by voting to spike their health care costs and backing a plan that would raise their taxes. Even Republicans say he has no place representing North Carolina in the Senate, and that’s exactly why voters will reject him in November.”

What To Know About Ted Budd:

• Budd has been called just “another Washington politician” who is “wholly owned and operated” by his insider allies. He was dragged through the primary by millions in outside spending – including $15 million from the Club for Growth.
