Today the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is releasing a new video, “Not A Television Show,” highlighting TV actor Mehmet Oz’s out-of-touch admission during the Pennsylvania Senate debate that he thinks the Senate campaign is just like “a television show.”
The admission is just the latest evidence that Oz is a fraud and a TV scam artist who will do, say, and sell anything to help himself – no matter who gets hurt.
Following the debate, Oz has also faced a wave of negative news coverage for his statement that local political leaders like Doug Mastriano should make decisions about a woman’s ability to have an abortion.
From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Patrick Burgwinkle: “Even though Oz spent years in a TV studio he made multiple damaging gaffes during the debate, including his telling admission that he views his campaign ‘like this is a television show.’ As a TV scam artist he made a fortune pushing quack cures and fraudulent products, no matter who got hurt – and he’s brought the same mentality and disregard for Pennsylvanians to his campaign. That’s why voters will send him back to his TV studio in November, not the U.S. Senate.”
