DSCC Statement on J.D. Vance Calling Rape “Inconvenient”

In response to Ohio GOP Senate candidate J.D. Vance calling rape “inconvenient,”  Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Jazmin Vargas issued the following statement:

“J.D. Vance’s comments calling rape ‘inconvenient’ demonstrate the dangerous and reprehensible views Republican Senate candidates are advocating — and how GOP Senate candidates will stoop to the lowest levels as they try to overturn Roe v. Wade and strip away a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. Comments like these from Republican Senate candidates reinforce the stakes of this election for women and families, and why voters will reject Republican Senate candidates in races across the country.”
