In response to Ron Johnson voting against the Inflation Reduction Act, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman-Baity issued the following statement:
“Johnson’s vote is the latest demonstration of how deeply out of touch he’s become with Wisconsin’s working families, and how his actions are hurting them in the Senate. The reason Johnson opposed this bill – even though it will lower costs like prescription drugs and tackle inflation – is simple: it’s paid for by making Big Pharma, Big Oil and the other mega-corporations that fund Johnson’s political campaigns finally pay their fair share. Wisconsin voters will hold Johnson accountable by kicking him out of office in November.”
