In response to Marco Rubio’s trip to Iowa to tease yet another failed presidential run as Florida deals with the worst COVID-19 outbreak the state has faced, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman Baity released the following statement:
“Once again spineless career politician Marco Rubio is more focused on his presidential ambitions than working for the people of Florida. In 2022, Floridians are going to remember that when the state faced its highest rate of COVID-19 cases, Rubio abandoned his responsibilities and prioritized his ridiculous quest for the White House at their expense.”
