In response to Republican Senators Ron Johnson and Marco Rubio today voting against advancing chips legislation – Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman-Baity issued the following statement:
“Making more computer chips here in America should be a no-brainer. It will lower costs, improve our supply chains, and ensure we can out-compete countries like China. But Senate Republicans like Ron Johnson and Marco Rubio tried to stand in the way of even considering this legislation – and in the process they’re showing they represent everything voters hate about Washington.”
