In response to Northern District Court of Texas ruling that could block access to the abortion pill that was previously legal in the state, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Nora Keefe issued the following statement:
“This court decision shows how a woman’s right to make our health care decisions is under perpetual attack from Republicans – and how access to abortion is in jeopardy even in states where it was previously legal. In 2024 voters will hold every Republican Senate candidate accountable for their party’s agenda that would make abortion a crime, without exceptions, and a women’s right to our own health decisions will once again be on the ballot in Senate races across the country.”
