In response to tonight’s Wisconsin U.S. Senate debate, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman-Baity issued the following statement:
“Mandela Barnes won tonight’s debate by clearly prosecuting the case against Ron Johnson, who’s self-serving agenda has been a disaster for Wisconsinites. Barnes held Johnson’s feet to the fire over his dangerous plans to ban abortion nationwide and put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block. Wisconsinites face a clear choice between Johnson who has spent his time in D.C. putting himself and his wealthy donors first at the expense of working families, and Mandela Barnes who has a record of standing up for working people.”
