The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is launching a new digital ad today highlighting unelected Senator Martha McSally’s refusal to stand up to the GOP’s toxic lawsuit to gut pre-existing conditions coverage and other protections, including maternity care and keeping kids on their parents’ insurance until age 26.
After all, McSally’s the one who said, “let’s get this f***ing thing done,” before voting for Republicans’ deeply unpopular plan to spike health care costs and gut protections for Arizonans with pre-existing conditions.
“When it came time to gut protections for Arizonans with pre-existing conditions or families already worrying about the cost of care, unelected Senator Martha McSally was ready to get the job done,” said DSCC spokesman Stewart Boss. “After voting again and again to dismantle health care protections for Arizonans and helping pass the reckless tax law that made this suit possible in the first place, McSally has made it clear that Arizonans can’t afford her dangerous health care agenda.”
