On the 100th day of the Biden Administration, the DSCC launched new digital ads to highlight the contrast between Senate Democrats’ work delivering coronavirus relief to Americans — and Republicans’ unanimous opposition to the American Rescue Plan.

Bloomberg: Senate Democrats Target 2022 Rivals With Ads on Popular Agenda

• The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is targeting Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Ron Johnson and open seats in North Carolina and Pennsylvania in ads criticizing Republicans for not backing President Joe Biden’s efforts to boost the economy and vaccinate Americans against the coronavirus.

• “North Carolina Republicans: They stood against us,” the text in one ad reads over images of former Governor Pat McCrory, Representative Ted Budd and former Representative Mark Walker in North Carolina, who are all running for the GOP Senate nomination to replace retiring Senator Richard Burr.

• A similar ad targets real estate developer Jeff Bartos, who is running for Senate in Pennsylvania, and former Army Ranger Sean Parnell, who is considering a bid. Four other ads praise Democratic incumbents up for re-election in Arizona, Georgia, New Hampshire and Nevada.

• Democrats have delivered Americans more Covid vaccines, $1,400 checks and helped reopen our businesses and schools — while Republicans have done nothing but stand in the way of our country’s recovery,” said DSC Chair Senator Gary Peters.

Florida Politics: Senate Democrats target Marco Rubio with digital video ad

• Senate Democrats are targeting Republican Sen. Marco Rubio with a new digital video ad appearing on Floridians’ Facebook feeds, hitting him for opposing President Joe Biden‘s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.

• “In 100 days, Senate Democrats have delivered Americans more COVID vaccines, $1,400 checks and helped re-open our businesses and schools — while Rubio has done nothing but stand in the way of Florida’s recovery,” DSCC Executive Director Christie Roberts stated in a news release. “Making sure Americans get back on track after the pandemic will be a defining issue of the 2022 campaign, and Floridians will hold Rubio accountable for voting against the checks, shots and jobs they need.”

POLITICO: “Coinciding with the 100th day of the administration of President Joe Biden, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has launched a “five-figure” digital ad buy on YouTube going after Sen. Marco Rubio. The 30-second ad highlights Biden’s American Rescue Plan — which Rubio opposed — and then ends by stating, “No thanks to Marco Rubio and Senate Republicans.”’

• The group aired a five-figure digital ad campaign on Thursday that emphasizes the Democrat’s support for the recently passed $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.

• The 30-second spot ends with an image of the pastor and the caption: “Thank you Rev. Raphael Warnock and Senate Democrats.”

Las Vegas Review Journal: Democratic campaign group touts Cortez Masto in new ad

• The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee launched a YouTube advertisement Thursday praising Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto for her work on the country’s most recent COVID-19 relief package.

• The digital ad, part of a five-figure nationwide buy and the latest leg of a Democratic victory lap stretching into its second month, specifically mentions $1,400 check delivered to a majority of Nevadans, 200 million nationwide vaccinations and increased funding for reopening schools and small businesses.

• “Making sure Americans get back on track after the pandemic will be a defining issue of the 2022 campaign — and while Sen. Cortez-Masto has kept her promise and gotten results, voters will hold every GOP Senate candidate in Nevada accountable for their party’s agenda blocking the checks, shots and jobs they need,” said DSCC Chair Sen. Gary Peters, of Michigan.

• The latest stimulus package provided some $4 billion in aid to Nevada.

The Nevada Independent: “The speech also provided a platform for Democrats up for election next year to tout their legislative victories, including Cortez Masto. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), the Senate Democrats’ campaign arm, launched a digital ad Thursday highlighting benefits of the pandemic-relief law, known as the American Rescue Plan. The ad is part of a five-figure buy, the DSCC said.”

• The national political committee charged with keeping Democrats in control of the U.S. Senate after next year’s midterm election is launching a new digital ad campaign this week thanking Sen. Maggie Hassan for working to bring COVID-19 relief to New Hampshire. 

• The DSCC ad focuses on the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, highlighting its key components — $1,400 direct relief checks, funding to safely reopen schools, increasing aid for small businesses and restaurants and “sending critical aid to New Hampshire to keep first responders on the job.”

• The ad concludes with a photo of Hassan and the words, “Thank you Maggie Hassan and Senate Democrats.” 

• “In 100 days, Senator Hassan has delivered Granite Staters more COVID vaccines and $1,400 checks and helped re-open businesses and schools,” said DSCC Chair Sen. Gary Peters of Michigan.

• “Making sure Americans get back on track after the pandemic will be a defining issue of the 2022 campaign — and while Sen. Hassan has kept her promise and gotten results, voters will hold every GOP Senate candidate in New Hampshire accountable for their party’s agenda that blocks the checks, shots and jobs they need.”
