Across the Senate battlegrounds, Democrats are holding Republican candidates accountable for their party’s agenda that would “raise taxes on as much as half of the country” – including seniors and working families.

From the Arizona Democratic Party: “While Democrats like Mark Kelly are fighting to lower costs for Arizona families, Republicans like Blake Masters, Jim Lamon, and Mark Brnovich will have to answer for their party’s agenda: raising taxes on as much as half of the country, including many Arizona seniors and working families.”
From the Colorado Democratic Party: “The vast majority of Republicans supported Trump’s tax giveaways for ultra-wealthy individuals and big corporations, and now they want to hike taxes on working families. Rick Scott said “all Americans should pay some income tax to have skin in the game. Do Colorado’s Republican Senate candidates agree with Rick Scott’s Republican campaign agenda that includes a tax hike on seniors or will they reject it?”
From the Georgia Democratic Party: “While Senator Reverend Warnock is fighting to lower the cost of gas and insulin while cutting taxes for Georgians, Herschel Walker and the entire Georgia GOP Senate field have their marching orders: raise taxes on seniors and working families, no matter the cost for Georgians.”
From the Florida Democratic Party: “Marco Rubio voted to add trillions to the deficit to cut taxes for corporations and the wealthy. Now that Rick Scott is telling him to support a plan to force retirees and working class Floridians to pay more taxes, Rubio owes millions of Floridians an answer about whether or not he supports this disastrous plan.”
From Nevada Democratic Victory: “Adam Laxalt and his Republican allies are running on raising taxes on middle class Nevadans while giving tax breaks to massive corporations. Laxalt and the GOP have never cared about working people, and this only confirms their agenda serves wealthy donors, not Nevada families.”
From the New Hampshire Democratic Party: “While Senator Hassan and Democrats in Washington are fighting to lower costs for Granite Staters, Republicans are scheming to raise taxes on New Hampshire families to help their corporate special interest backers.”
From the North Carolina Democratic Party: “Senator Scott has made clear that Senate Republicans are running on raising taxes on North Carolinians: Will Ted Budd, Pat McCrory, and Mark Walker do the same?”
From the Ohio Democratic Party: “While working families are already feeling the squeeze from rising costs, Republicans are freely admitting they plan to raise taxes on the people who can least afford it. Not one of the out-of-touch extremists running for U.S. Senate in Ohio has dared to break with their party on these reckless tax hikes for hardworking Ohioans.”\
And from the Wisconsin Democratic Party: “This new blueprint is a mirror image of the self-serving agenda Ron Johnson has pursued in Washington: give the ultra rich a free pass while demanding working families and our seniors pay more in taxes, and let Big Pharma and the insurance companies continue to rig the system. Wisconsinites are done with Johnson and his cronies’ self-serving politics.”
