A series of new reports details how Trump is escalating Republican Senate primaries — forcing GOP Senate candidates to face a long summer of chaos. 

The Hill detailed how past criticism of Trump is being deployed by Republicans’ against each other, HuffPost reported how GOP candidates who attacked Trump are now fighting with each other to earn his endorsement, and CNN examined how Trump and McConnell are on a “collision course” over support for primary candidates — the latest examples of how Trump is “sabotaging” and escalating GOP Senate primaries across the country.
