Senate Democrats Passed The American Rescue Plan, Now 50% of Americans Ages 50-64 Have Received At Least One Vaccine Shot

The United States reached a major milestone this weekend with 50% of the U.S. population between ages 50 and 64 having now received at least their first vaccine shot. 

This enormous achievement was made possible by the Biden Administration and the American Rescue Plan –– which every Senate Democrat voted for and every single GOP senator opposed.

Reminder: every Republican Senator is on the record voting against a relief package that has:

• Delivered $1,400 direct relief checks
• Ramped up access to vaccines and testing
• Provided additional local funding to help schools safely reopen
• Sent critical aid to state and local governments to help keep first responders on the job
