In response to Senate Republicans blocking the Paycheck Fairness Act yet again, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesperson Amanda Sherman issued the following statement:
“Equal pay for women shouldn’t be controversial, but with their unanimous vote to block the Paycheck Fairness Act, Senate Republicans have once again demonstrated the harmful, out-dated consequences of their obstructionism. While Senate Democrats fight to put more money in the pockets of working families, voters will hold every GOP Senate candidate accountable for their party’s toxic agenda.”
