In yet another mean-spirited attack on women’s health by the Republican controlled Senate, Senator Ayotte joined numerous GOP Senators in votingtonight to defund Planned Parenthood, despite the fact that this organization provides safe, affordable access to health care for 2.7 million patients annually.
“In a disgraceful display of partisanship, Senator Ayotte joined her Republican colleagues tonight in voting to limit safe, affordable access to health care for millions of women across the country – including over 14,000 Granite Staters,” said Sadie Weiner, DSCC National Press Secretary. “In 2016, voters in New Hampshire – men and women alike – will remember that Senator Ayotte chose to engage in shameful political games by voting to attack women’s health.”
