The DSCC continues to have its strongest fundraising cycle to date thanks to small-dollar donors and will report having its largest month in committee history — $43.7 million — for September because of that grassroots support. The Q3 total of $83.8 million raised is also the best-ever quarterly haul for the DSCC, and it represents a historic record for any congressional party committee.
Grassroots supporters continue to show unprecedented enthusiasm for flipping the Senate:
“The grassroots community’s support for our mission to flip the Senate has given us clear momentum in the home stretch, but our work is far from over and we must all double down in these final weeks through Election Day,” said DSCC Chair Catherine Cortez Masto. “Democrats are in a strong position to win close races across the country, and we remain laser-focused on investing these critical resources into taking back the majority in November.”
Thanks to record-breaking fundraising, the DSCC has substantially grown our independent expenditure and continued to plus up major investments in paid TV and digital communications in the key battlegrounds of Iowa, Montana, and North Carolina this fall. The DSCC has also made major seven-figure coordinated investments in highly competitive offensive opportunities across the map like South Carolina and Texas. Democratic challengers are continuing to lead the way by outraising vulnerable Republicans in a whopping 14 GOP-held Senate seats in Q3.
