Democratic incumbents announced “eye-popping” Q3 fundraising hauls, breaking fundraising records, building their cash on hand in key battlegrounds across the map, and demonstrating strong grassroots support. It’s the latest example that Democrats are running aggressive campaign operations across the country and are ready to defend our majority.

• CNN: Democratic Senate candidates display fundraising might in third quarter. “Democratic Senate contenders in some of the most competitive races announced big fundraising hauls this week…’Democrats’ massive fundraising shows the strength of our candidates’ grassroots support, and the enthusiasm that exists for Democrats’ work in the Senate,’ Jazmin Vargas, a spokeswoman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said in a statement to CNN.”

• POLITICO: Senate Dems in tight reelection bids had great fundraising: They easily outpaced their GOP challengers this quarter. “Four of the Senate Democrats facing the chamber’s most competitive reelection bids smoked their announced Republican opponents in the fundraising race last quarter…These are pretty astounding numbers more than a year out from the election.”
