After narrowly avoiding a government shutdown over the issue of Planned Parenthood funding last week, Republicans are at it again attacking women’s health. Yesterday, The Hill reported on Republicans’ latest extreme effort to defund Planned Parenthood by using reconciliation rules.

When asked if she planned to support to the latest gambit, Ayotte dodged the question, saying “I have to look at it.” Kelly Ayotte has already voted to defund Planned Parenthood three times, but now she needs to say whether she will support Republicans’ latest attempt to limit women’s access to healthcare.

“One week after bringing us to the brink of a government shutdown over Planned Parenthood funding, Republicans are once again launching extreme attacks on women’s health,” said Sadie Weiner, DSCC Communications Director. “Time and time again, Kelly Ayotte has prioritized partisan politics over a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, and the people of New Hampshire deserve to know if Ayotte will support the latest fringe attempt to attack women’s health.”
