In Arizona “Jittery” GOP Hits Panic Button for McSally As Primary Rages

A new report from Politico reveals that “jittery” Republicans are asking President Trump to interfere in the Arizona Senate Republican primary “out of fear” that Congresswoman McSally’s lackluster campaign is hemorrhaging support  — but so far even President Trump is “non-committal” about supporting her.

The report prompted Dr. Kelli Ward to slam Congresswoman McSally, the latest escalation in the divisive and nasty GOP primary that still has weeks to go and is dominating the race — here’s what they’re saying:

From Politico: Republicans ask Trump to intervene in contentious Arizona primary

• The NRSC wants the president to endorse GOP Rep. Martha McSally over Kelli Ward and former Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
• Trump, according to one of the Republicans, was non-committal and did not say yes or no to the request.
• McSally is the front-runner in the primary, yet she faces obstacles. A pro-Ward super PAC, Kelli PAC, has been airing ads calling McSally “one of the most liberal Republicans in Congress.”
