DSCC Launches NEW Digital Ad Targeting North Dakota Voters in Wake of Alabama Senate Election: “They Did Nothing”

Digital Ad Holds Congressman Cramer Accountable for Refusing to Stand Up to Moore

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee today is launching a new digital ad, “They Did Nothing,” to make sure voters know Congressman Cramer refused to stand up to Roy Moore – a candidate who has assaulted and harassed young women in their teens, wrote a course on why women shouldn’t run for public office, and thinks repealing Constitutional Amendments that gave women the right to vote and abolished slavery would “eliminate many problems.” The ad will run immediately in North Dakota as part of an ongoing six-figure digital buy.

Cramer Explained Away Allegations Against Moore: I would also say the past, when you’re talking 40 years past, versus last year, two years ago in the case of both Senator Franken and Representative Conyers, you are talking about something a little bit different, you’re talking about a different standard. So — but that said, I’m not making excuses for Roy Moore. Like I’ve said, I’d have a hard time voting for Roy Moore.” [POV With Chris Berg, 12/6/17]

From Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Communications Director, Lauren Passalacqua: “Congressman Cramer was wrong to do nothing in the face of Roy Moore’s candidacy and his dangerous, out-of-touch record. Unlike Republicans like John McCain and Alabama Senator Richard Shelby, Cramer put political expediency and the interests of his party ahead of what’s right, and voters deserve an explanation. The DSCC will make sure voters don’t forget it.”
