Ahead of Scott announcement on Facebook Live, DSCC launching Facebook ads highlighting his self-serving politics
Today Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee spokesman David Bergstein released the following statement:
“In the Senate Rick Scott would do what he’s always done: look out for himself at Floridians’ expense. His record is a story voters of every political persuasion will reject: lost jobs, low wages and higher health care costs for hardworking families — while using his position as governor to make himself richer. The contrast couldn’t be clearer between a dishonest, self serving politician like Scott and a leader like Senator Nelson who always puts Florida first.”
This morning the DSCC is launching Facebook ads which will reach individuals watching Scott’s announcement on Facebook Live and connect them with the DSCC’s digital hub, SelfServingScott.com. DSCC Executive Director Mindy Myers also released a memo highlighting the top facts about Scott’s record and the Florida Senate race. Examples of the new Facebook ads are below:
The DSCC previously released two digital ads highlighting Scott’s self-serving politics and dishonesty, “Truth” and “Blind,” the website SelfServingScott.com, and Google search ads connecting individuals looking for information about Scott to this site.
