As Rick Scott prepares to hold an event today on Florida’s economy, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Spokesman David Bergstein issued the following statement:
“Before Rick Scott holds another press conference to congratulate himself, he should talk to the thousands of Florida families who are making less money than almost anywhere else in the country after his self-serving agenda has taken the state to the bottom of the nation in household income. Under Scott, Floridians are struggling to find good paying jobs and doing worse off than almost everywhere else in the country – but all Scott cares about is advancing his own political interests. At every turn, Scott is proving he’s a typical Tallahassee politician who is only ever looking out for himself – while hardworking Floridians are paying the price.”
