The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is looking to hire an Email Director to manage a large and active grassroots email program.

You will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction for marketing campaigns to raise millions of dollars, recruit organizers, and mobilize voters across the country.

Ultimately, your work will play a critical role in the fight for the Senate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative, engaging campaigns that moves millions of people to take action on behalf of the DSCC

DSCC Digital Department Seeks Designer

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is looking for a Designer to help manage the committee’s creative output and produce a range of visual communication. The ideal candidate should be able to work within an established brand guide, even as they look for opportunities to advance the visual identity of the committee. You’ll be part of the committee’s digital department but support the organization as a whole.

On a daily basis, we’ll need you to create graphic emails, design collateral for social media and the web, and produce print materials for offline events and the press. You’ll regularly collaborate with peers to help produce video, merchandise, and website projects.

Ultimately, your work will help to engage millions of activists, volunteers, and voters throughout the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver eye-catching, creative digital and print designs to support all departments of the DSCC.
  • Help maintain and evolve the DSCC brand guide.
  • Select photography and maintain an organizational system for design files.

Job Title: DSCC National Data Director

Location: Washington, DC

DSCC Seeks Data Director for 2018 Cycle

The Data Director will work with the Field Director to support and measure state voter contact programs. The Director will work with allies and partner organizations to share information and best practices. The Director will be responsible for creating reports and analysis measuring state campaign performance and assisting state data staff in doing the same.

Required

  • Multiple cycles of work for campaigns or electorally-focused organizations, including at least one full cycle in a data or analytics role
  • Experience “telling a story” with data through quantitative reporting and visualizations
  • Experience building Tableau dashboards powered by SQL databases
  • Experience writing SQL scripts to support the Tableau dashboards

Preferred

  • Experience managing complex projects involving diverse stakeholders

Job Title: Senate Campaign Data Director

Location: Nationwide

Democratic Senate Campaigns Seek Data Directors for 2018 Cycle

The Data Director will support the campaign’s voter contact efforts, working closely with the Field Director to define and pull contact universes, track progress, and implement a reporting program. The Data Director will also conduct trainings and educate field staff on the use of voter contact and data entry tools.

Job Description: Voter Protection Director

Location: Nationwide

Democratic State Parties Seek Voter Protection Directors for 2018 Cycle

Various Democratic state parties around the country are seeking to hire Voter Protection Directors to develop and implement voter protection campaigns in key battleground states. VPDs will report directly to the Coordinated Campaign Director and coordinate the department’s work in conjunction with the field, communications, data, and digital departments to ensure compliance with voting laws and maximize voter turnout.

The DSCC is accepting resumes from candidates for these state party positions, which it will then forward to the state parties who are hiring for the positions and are responsible for all hiring decisions. Voter Protection Directors will not be employees of the DSCC.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and implementing all federal, state, and local election laws
  • Supervising voter protection staff and volunteers
  • Coordinating a poll observer program, including recruitment, volunteer management, and training
  • Conducting staff and volunteer trainings on best practices for voter registration, vote by mail, and other voter outreach
  • Communicating with local elections administrators, county party leadership, and other political outreach as necessary
  • Working with other departments to maximize voter contact and turnout
  • Overseeing all poll observer credentialing

Job Title: Regional Finance Assistant

Location: Washington, DC

Entry level fundraising staff

Applicant must be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have some political campaign experience (preferably fundraising experience). Responsibilities include identifying and tracking donors, database maintenance, processing checks, maintaining spreadsheets, making fundraising calls, staffing fundraising events and other administrative tasks related to fundraising.  This position is ideal for both recent college graduates and individuals with at least some previous campaign experience.  Knowledge of campaign database software, such as NGP, preferred.
